Budge Privacy Policy
Budge helps you start things. It doesn't need to know much about you to do that, so this policy is short and honest.
Last updated: 31 July 2026
The short version
Budge has no accounts and no ads. Your tasks, steps, and captured thoughts stay on your device, and we never see them.
What Budge stores
Your tasks, their broken-down steps, anything you capture, how many things you’ve finished, and your settings are saved only on your iPhone. We have no account system and no server that holds your data.
Widgets & Control Centre
The Lock Screen widget and Control Centre control let you capture a thought without opening the app. What you capture is written to a private container on your own device and shared only with the app itself.
Notifications
Any reminder you set is scheduled locally on your device. No reminder content ever leaves your phone.
No ads, no tracking
Budge contains no advertising SDKs and no third-party analytics. We do not build a profile of you, and we never sell data — because we never receive any.
Not a health record
Budge is designed with ADHD in mind, but it never asks you to disclose a diagnosis and does not record any health information about you. Using the app implies nothing about you that we could see, because we cannot see any of it.
Children
Budge is designed for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date above.
