Offerly Privacy Policy
Real accounts, real rewards — here's exactly what that means for your data.
Last updated: 28 September 2026
The short version
Offerly needs an account, because it tracks real offers, real referrals and real rewards tied to you.
We collect your account details, what you tell us during onboarding, which offers you interact with, and some plain usage signals (like which tab you spend time on) so we can make the app better. We never sell your data, and we don’t run third-party ad or tracking SDKs.
Who runs Offerly
Offerly is made and run by Iosvisual, which is one person — an independent developer. There are no investors and no marketing department. You can reach us at support@iosvisual.com and the same person who writes the app answers the email.
We are based in Italy and handle personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), regardless of where you use the app from. This policy covers the Offerly iOS app and this page.
Your account
Offerly needs an account, because rewards, referrals and affiliate clicks all need to be tied to a real person to work. You can sign in with Apple, sign in with Google, or use email and password.
We store your email address, and — if you sign in with Apple or Google — the name and profile photo those services choose to share with us. If you use email and password, the password is stored only as a secure hash; we never see it in plain text.
Onboarding answers
When you first set up the app, we ask for your country, age range, the categories you’re interested in, and the brands you already use. This personalizes the feed you see, but it doesn’t narrow down the reward total shown to you — that always reflects every offer you actually qualify for.
Usage data
We collect first-party usage data so we can see what’s working and what isn’t. This is the only kind of behavioral data Offerly collects, and it is tied to your account — there is no separate anonymous tracking layer.
What this includes:
- the offers you view, search for, save, or write a review about;
- which part of the app led you to open a given offer — for example a specific home screen carousel, a category list, search, a saved offer, or a link someone shared with you;
- how long you spend on each of the app’s main tabs (Home, Explore, Rewards, Profile), and roughly how long a session lasts before you leave the app;
- when you open the app; and
- basic technical context — app version, platform, a per-session identifier, and your country.
We use this ourselves, to see things like which tab people actually spend time in and which part of the app drives the most offer opens, so we know what to build or fix next. We look at it in aggregate to make product decisions — we don’t use it to build an advertising profile of you, we don’t run third-party advertising or analytics SDKs, and there is no ad-tracking code in the app.
Offer clicks and rewards
When you open an offer through the app, we generate a tracking ID for that click and record it, along with which offer and brand it was for. If the partner later confirms you completed the required action, we record that conversion and the reward you’re owed, and it shows up in your Rewards tab as pending, available or paid.
If a reward becomes payable, we may separately ask you for payment details (for example a PayPal email address) purely to send you that reward. We don’t collect this by default — only when there’s something to actually pay out.
Reviews and referrals
Reviews and ratings you post about an offer are stored against your account and moderated before they go live, to keep them genuine. By posting one, you allow us to show it in the app, including your display name.
We also store your own referral code and, if someone referred you into the app, a link between your account and theirs.
Location (optional)
If you allow it, we use your approximate location only to show offers available near you. You can decline this and use the rest of the app normally.
AI drafting tools
We use an AI assistant, connected through a restricted, audited interface, to help draft new offers for our team to review. It only ever works with offer and brand content — never your personal data — and any live change it’s allowed to make, such as reordering the offers shown at the top of the app, is limited, switched on deliberately, and logged.
How long we keep it
We keep account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we anonymize your profile immediately and remove data that isn’t needed for anything else. We keep financial records tied to affiliate conversions and rewards for as long as we’re legally required to for accounting and fraud-prevention purposes, even after an account is deleted, but no longer tied to your name or email once that’s possible.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, and the CCPA, you can ask us to: give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, receive it in a portable format, or object to how we use it. You can withdraw any consent you’ve given (for example, for location or marketing messages) at any time, without affecting anything we did before you withdrew it.
You can delete your own account and its data at any time from Profile → Account → Delete my account. For anything else, email support@iosvisual.com and we’ll respond within 30 days. If you’re in the EU and unhappy with our answer, you can also complain to your local data protection authority (in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
Children
Offerly is not directed at children under 16. If you tell us your age range is under 18, we assume you’re at least 16 and, where your local law requires it for someone your age, that you have a parent or guardian’s permission to use financial offer apps like this one. We don’t knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards — encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level security on every table that holds personal or financial data — to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep yours safe and will tell you if something goes wrong that affects you.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the change will be described here and the date at the top updated. Material changes will also be noted in the app’s release notes.
