Pulse is a private space for two people. Your privacy matters to us, so this policy is short and honest.

The short version
Pulse has no accounts and no ads. Your moods, answers, custom emotions, and recorded sounds are saved on your device, and we never see them.
What Pulse stores
Your mood check-ins, sync-question answers, the emotions you send and receive, your custom emotions, and your settings are saved only on your iPhone, in the app’s private storage. We have no account system and no server that holds your relationship data.
Microphone & recorded sounds
If you create a custom emotion with its own sound, the app asks for microphone permission and records a short clip. That clip is stored on your device only — it is never uploaded to us, and it is used solely to play your custom emotion inside the app. You can delete a custom emotion, and its sound, at any time.
Widgets & Live Activities
Data shown in your Home Screen widget or Lock Screen Live Activity is shared with the widget extension through a private container on your own device. Nothing is sent off the device to display it.
Notifications
Reminders and nudges are scheduled locally on your device. No notification content ever leaves your phone.
No ads, no tracking
Pulse contains no advertising SDKs and no third-party analytics. We do not build a profile of you, and we never sell data — because we never receive any.
Children
Pulse is intended for adults in a relationship and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
