Using Aura
Aura is provided for your personal, non-commercial use. Scan your own face, or the face of someone who has clearly agreed to it — never scan someone without their consent, and never use Aura to harass, bully, or demean anyone.
You must not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app or attempt to derive its source code.
- Copy, modify, or create derivative works based on the app without our written permission.
- Use the app in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its operation.
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
Aura Plus subscription
Aura offers an optional subscription, Aura Plus, which unlocks your full results, the glow-up plan, and unlimited scans:
- Weekly — billed every week.
- Yearly — billed every year (best value).
Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions on your iPhone.
Prices are shown in the app and may vary by region. Refunds are handled exclusively by Apple — contact Apple Support to request one.
About ratings & the glow-up plan
Please read this carefully.
Aura’s scores are algorithmic estimates derived from facial geometry, provided for entertainment and self-improvement. They are not an objective or scientific measure of attractiveness, beauty, or worth — no such measure exists — and different photos, lighting, or angles will produce different results.
The glow-up plan offers general wellness and grooming suggestions only. It is not medical, dermatological, dietary, or psychological advice. Consult a qualified professional before making health decisions, and if appearance concerns are affecting your wellbeing, please reach out to someone you trust or a professional.
Your content
Your photos, answers, and scan history are yours and stay on your device. You are responsible for your own content and for keeping your device backed up — if you delete the app, your data is gone with it.
The app is provided “as is”
We work hard to make Aura polished and reliable, but it is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the app.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time, with or without notice.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Aura means you accept the updated terms. We will update the “Last updated” date above when changes are made.
