Cool Developer Terms of Use

By downloading or using Cool Developer you agree to these terms. They are between you and the developer of Cool Developer, an independent solo developer. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Apple's Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement also applies to your copy of the app, and where the two disagree about your licence, Apple's takes precedence. You can read Apple's Standard EULA in full.

You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control. You may not resell it, rent it out, take it apart to build a competing product, or work around the limits of the free tier.

You are responsible for the key you add, and for having the right to see the data it grants access to. Use a key with the smallest role that works for you.

The app only reads from your App Store Connect account, with one exception: the button that asks Apple to start generating analytics reports, which runs only when you tap it and which changes a setting on your own account.

The free tier covers one of your apps, with its full analytics for windows up to 30 days.

Cool Developer Pro adds every app on your account, the combined portfolio, comparisons between apps, longer windows, exporting, and the AI insights, coach and Ask. The features included in each tier may change as the app develops; if something you paid for is removed, you may cancel and ask Apple for a refund.

Pro is an auto-renewing subscription sold through the App Store. Payment is taken by Apple when you confirm the purchase, and again at each renewal unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends.

Prices are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency, and may change with notice. Manage or cancel the subscription in the App Store, under your Apple Account, at any time — the developer cannot cancel it for you.

Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policy, not by the developer.

The insights, recommendations and answers are generated from your figures, on your device or by a provider you choose. They are suggestions, they can be wrong, and they are not a substitute for your own judgement. If you enable a cloud provider you are also bound by that provider's terms, and you pay them directly for what you use.

Do not use the app to access data you are not entitled to, to break Apple's rules or the law, or to attack, overload or reverse engineer any service the app talks to.

The app depends on Apple's APIs, which can change, break or be withdrawn. Features may be added, changed or removed, and the app may be unavailable at times. It is offered as it is.

To the extent the law allows, the app is provided “as is” and without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by agreement.

You may stop at any time by deleting the app. The licence ends if you break these terms. Cancelling a subscription ends Pro at the end of the paid period.

Cool Developer is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Apple Inc. App Store, App Store Connect and iPhone are trademarks of Apple Inc.

Apple is not a party to these terms and has no responsibility for the app, but Apple and its subsidiaries may enforce these terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

These terms are governed by the laws of Italy, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of Italy have jurisdiction — except where the law of the country you live in gives you the right to bring a claim there.
