Using Grain
Grain is provided for your personal, non-commercial use. You must not reverse engineer, copy, or create derivative works from the app.
Your photos are yours
You keep all rights to the photos you take and edit with Grain. We claim no licence over them and never receive them. You may use your photos commercially without any additional permission from us.
Backups & data loss
Your photos and edits live on your device. You are responsible for backing up your device and for saving finished photos to your library — deleting the app removes anything still held inside it. We cannot recover lost photos.
Film looks
Grain’s looks are original creations inspired by the character of analogue photography. They are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or licensed from any film manufacturer, and any film names used are descriptive only.
Provided “as is”
Grain is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.
