Most film apps put a filter on afterwards. Grain renders the look live in the viewfinder, so what you frame is what you get — halation, grain, colour shift and all. Thirteen film stocks are built by hand rather than sampled from presets. Every original is kept untouched, so any edit can be walked back, and the editor adds adjustments, masks that understand what's in the photo, and light leaks. Shoot in roll mode to get the wait back: frames stay hidden until the roll is done.
